Facebook + Video Ads = Future Marketing Growth!
5 days ago Facebook announced its revenue and earnings per share for its second-quarter of 2016.
It seems marketing analysts have got it right with the growth of video and its impact on social media channels in the next 2 years.

The Numbers
Facebook reported $6.44 billion in revenue, up 63 percent and the big return for Facebook is the smartphone. Mobile ads now account for 84 percent of ad revenue, up from 76 percent in the second quarter of 2015.
What Mark Says
Facebook’s mobile growth is impressive and it highlighted its increasing strength is video.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated:
“Our community and business had another good quarter. We’re particularly pleased with our progress in video as we move towards a world where video is at the heart of all our services,”
The Other Apps
While Facebook’s user base is dominated by 25+ demographic, they have found teens fleeing from Facebook to other apps such as Instagram and Whatsapp – both owned by Facebook which were phenomenal purchases by the company as it allows marketing agencies to utilise advertising across all it’s social platforms.
In a report by Credit_Suisse, Facebook’s mobile advertising is growing across its apps. Instagram is expected earn $3.2 billion this year.
