The Challenge: Showcasing Jewellery Online

Pravins Jewellery had a collection of bespoke flagship jewellery stores across the south of the UK. However, the company wanted to raise awareness of its products and encourage more customers to visit its stores.

Although Pravins already had a well-designed website, photography alone could not fully showcase the finer details of each piece of jewellery. Customers needed a better way to see the products, appreciate their design and understand how each item looked when worn.

Pravins recognised that video could take its online product presentation to the next level.

That’s where we, Impress Video, came in.

The Solution: Bringing Jewellery to Life with Product Videos

We offered a simple solution: creating a product video inspired by the approach used by ASOS.

The idea was: customers could select a product on the website and watch a video showing it from multiple angles, alongside footage of models wearing the jewellery.

This gave potential buyers a more detailed view of each item, helping them make more informed purchasing decisions before visiting a store or making an enquiry.

The Production: Filming Over 1,000 Products in One Week

Production took place over one week at a Pravins Jewellery store in South Wales.

We set up a small production area inside the store and filmed more than 1,000 products in a streamlined, back-to-back production process.

Each item was captured from different angles, with additional footage featuring models wearing the jewellery. Our team then edited the footage into short, rotating product videos, allowing customers to explore the appearance and details of each piece online.

The approach enabled us to create a substantial library of product video content within a single production week.

The Results: More Engaged Customers and a 26% Increase in Sales

We integrated the completed videos into individual product pages across the Pravins Jewellery website, giving customers a more engaging way to explore the collection.

The content also became part of the company’s email marketing campaigns, helping promote seasonal styles, featured brands and special offers.

The impact extended beyond the website. Pravins found that customers were spending more time on product pages and making more enquiries. Many watched the videos before visiting a store, arriving with a clearer idea of what they wanted to see.

Some customers even saved links to specific product videos to show staff when they visited in person, creating a useful connection between the online shopping experience and the in-store service.

Most notably, following the introduction of the videos, Pravins reported a 26% increase in sales.

The Takeaway: Making Every Product Easier to Experience

The Pravins Jewellery project demonstrates how well-planned product video content can help businesses present their products more effectively online.

By combining detailed product views with footage of models wearing the jewellery, Impress Video helped Pravins give customers a clearer understanding of its collection before they visited a store or made an enquiry.

With more than 1,000 products filmed in one week, the project also showed how an efficient production process can deliver video content at scale.
